2 more resonators or new muffler?

Hi all,
I currently am running a Active Autowerke Catless x pipe on my 2011 e92 m3 with a m performance exhaust. I'm not really a fan of how loud it is in the lower rpms and how much rasp it has overall. I'd like to find a midpoint between stock and what I have now. I believe the x pipe comes with two resonators so I'm wondering, should I add 2 vibrant resonators (for a total of 4) or should I just get another exhaust, as I've heard that the combination of the m performance exhaust and being catless results in a lot of rasp as well as lower rpm drone. I had a shop offer to install the resonators for $400 (so it would end up being $550 after I buy the resonators) or I could buy an eisenmann exhaust and go that route. Let me know your thoughts!

Resonators won't change the volume, just tone. If you want it to be more quiet its either new muffler or adding cats
