Am I knocking?

https://youtube.com/shorts/FDIrycpoL...xzl8rM_hET0_8i

Took to the Kia dealer where I bought it to fix and oil leak exactly 1 day after I purchased the vehicle. After the fixing the leak it Started knocking the next day. They still have the vehicle. The tech admitted to not knowing BMWs well. I refuse to pick up the vehicle until the noise is completely gone. My theory is they didn’t prime the engine and starved it of oil. But im hoping im just paranoid because its a new car for me. What do you guys think??

That sounds like rod knock, unfortunately.

Yeah, if you do any service that interrupts the oil supply circuit — such as fixing an oil leak at the sump or the oil filter housing — on an N55, then you must prime the oil system before starting the motor. I wouldn’t expect most techs at a non-BMW service center to know this.
