DCT Issues

Hello All,

Experiencing an issue at the moment with my e93 m3, dct, booked in with a specialist for 12/02 but thought I’d see if anyones had this issue before.

e93 m3 dct, 2008, switches from auto to manual mode by itself while driving, upshifts itself into whatever the highest gear for the speed is, not able to shift with paddles or the gearstick even though its in manual mode, can push lever back into auto mode but itll swap utself back over to manual, no codes on a diag, error on idrive flags up as “Transmission not in Park” but its a dct so only able to stick into “N”???

Did you look for codes using ISTA? Have you checked the battery?

Not yet with ITSA, battery is a good shout I’ll have a check

I'd start with the batt, followed by a full DCT fluid flush.
