Looking for Seat Support Recommendations for My Parents’ Back & Hip Pain

Hello everyone,

I drive a 2023 BMW M340i and have recently been helping my mom and dad with their appointments and errands. They both struggle with back and hip pain, and since the car sits lower than an SUV, the seating isn’t ideal for their comfort.

I’m looking for seat support solutions - things like back support pads, lumbar cushions, or butt/seat pads that could help with better arch support, posture, and reduced pressure during drives. Ideally something I could get on Amazon or from other trusted stores.

If you’ve used anything that made a big difference for you or a loved one, I’d be really grateful for your recommendations!

I like the gel seat cushions. The thicker ones like this in the small 16x14 size.

I also like lumbar supports. But finding ones that fit the best is challenging due the the bolsters on my M5 seats so I use a generic round foam pillow for lumber, but I have to put it in place and position it each drive.
