It should be quite flexible when you press the middle part of the plenum. The tech/engineer guy from Eventuri told me to record the video of me doing so. He confirmed it was not supposed to be like that. I received a replacement which he personally checked and it was way more flexible

Quick question for the fellas w CF plenum.
Has anyone PPF’d their Eventuri set (intake, ducts, engine cover, etc.)? It’s an expensive kit and I’d hate for it to ever get a scratch or something. I’ve seen some PPFs rated for around 200°C/400°F, so in theory it should be okay under the hood, but I’d to see if anyone has done it and if they had any issues with heat, peeling, yellowing, or edges lifting? |

A larger factor is you’ll kill induction noise by adding another layer of material. I have a new Eventuri, and the clear coat is thin for a reason. |

I totally get what you’re saying, but I’m not convinced a thin layer of PPF on the outside would kill much induction noise, it’s not really a sound deadening.
From an acoustics point of view, a thin film on the outside might slightly tame some very high frequency “zing” if the carbon is flexing, but it shouldn’t make the intake noticeably quieter. I’m genuinely curious though, what makes you think PPF would kill the induction noise? |
