I was talking to him about this offset recently and was shocked to hear it was a 19. This makes a ton more sense

can you explain the math? generally curious. because i thought the offset of the wheel only had to do with the distance of the wheel face to the hub, and that didn't change with an inner barrel.

Offset should be the difference between the centerline of the wheel and the centerline of the hub face. If you add to the wheel width, you change the relative location of the wheel centerline.

MCS shock bodies and 5" main springs without a helper will put the perch above the tire, but with a helper you still have some room since it's so narrow. I ran 10.5" +25 with a 295 a052 up front with plenty of breathing room. I've seen people run 11s up front. I'd try mine but the Falken 315 is definitely too meaty.

Just pulled the trigger on 295/315 staggered A052's from tire rack... 18x11 et32 is the plan for the 315 on the rear it sounds like. Backup plan is to mount them on 18x10.5 et27
Should have them next week to confirm fit ![]() 295's are backordered...

No. Biggest front with stock fenders I know of is a 285/30R18 on a 10.5. Search the forums for that fitment or the aggressive fitment thread. Apex wheels has a good E9X wheel fitment thread as do Turner Motorsports.

I had 285/30s fit on an 18x11 in the front. They poked out a touch but didn’t rub on track. This was with ohlins though.

Yeah the stock OEM front spring perch is wider than the Ohlins coil-overs.

285 on a 10.5 would be nice, but none of the super 200's we should care about come in that size. ![]() |

Supercar 3R does too...
I ran 295/30/18 square on track and only had slight rubbing in the front on hard sweepers and some curbing. Hoping to correct that this off-season with some suspension changes and I think no rubbing should be possible. |

I run an 18x11+25 275/35 square on my E90 M3 dual purpose car. 8mm front spacer. Zero issues with rub besides front liners but those self clearanced when turning. Data has shown that a smaller tire on a wider wheel is faster than a wider tire on a wider wheel. I have run 295/35 RE71RS as well with no issue. MCS 1ways, 700F, 600R coilover rear, both with helpers. Very low in the rear but front is "kind of" high, even though I have the front a few mm lower than the rear.
~3730lbs with 180lb driver. F -3.0 0 total, R -1.8 +14 total toe in, 49.7 Cross, LF113/RF115/RR121/LR119 RH at metal next to jackpad, Front hotchkis bar at 3 no rear. DON'T get hotchkis, rear ended up destroying the axles, cut the bar out because I wasn't about to drop the subframe again to put the stock in, will do when I have the time. |
