First, you can use a 8-10 mm thick spacer on the front. Depending on your suspension setup, you might need a spacer to prevent the tire from rubbing on the spring/spring seat.

A front 275/30 or 275/35 and a rear 295/30. A 305 on the rear might rub against the fuel filler neck. Tire category depends on what you plan on doing with the car. The Michelin PS4S is an excellent street performance and DD’ing tire. The Yoko V601 is another good street performance and DD’ing tire with a bit more grip than the PS4S.

If you are looking for a tire with a nice increase in performance/grip for the street and track, the Yoko AD09 or the Michelin PSC2 are nice options. The downside of the PSC2 is you’ll likely heat cycle it out before you’re able to use all of the tread depth.

I doubt you’ll find nice ultra high performance all season tires for just DD’ing in the sizes you’ll need for the 9.5” and 11” wide wheels.

275/35 front will not work, too tall. 265/35 will or as mentioned 275/30 and a 295/30 for the rear.

I got my 275/35 on an 18” mixed up with a 275/35 on a 19”. However, I’ve used 265/40-18 and 265/35-19 on the front with light rubbing only on the inner fender liner with two people in the car. There’s only a 0.125-0.150” increase in rolling radius for a 275/35-19. I wonder if heating up and modifying the shape of the fender liner in areas where rubbing occurs would eliminate rubbing?

Lowering should not be an issue with correct 11” wheel offsets.

I’m surprised an 11” wide wheel (guessing the width of the 20” wheel) with an effective 25 mm offset rubbed with a 295 tire. Offsets between 25-30 should work with a 295 tire.

Bad picture, but 295 on the 20x10.5 rear rim.
