Increased emissions after new injectors

So i just got done replacing all of my injectors in my e92 m3 in an attempt to fix the smell of fuel and black stains on concrete from start up in the garage that i noticed about a month ago. Got them all replaced and as soon as i cranked it up the cel and increased emissions lights came on. Went for a spin hoping it would clear up. Came back popped the hood and realized i didnt plug in the clip at the front of the air box manifold. Plugged it in went for a spin and its still on ,the car actually feels like its perkier than before the swap. Th only other thing i can think is one of the throttle body boots is worn pretty bad and you could see where some carbon build up was on the band clamp. I have one in route but it wasnt a problem before. Any thoughts?
