PT-CAN of DCT temperature

I'm looking for PT-CAN info related to the DCT temperature of e92 m3 so that I can provide such info to AIM for them to enable the display of DCT temp on their loggers.

I just forwarded this info to AIM.

If possible, I think engine oil pressure is very good info for all E92 M3 owner.
And, air temperature inside intake manifold, too.

There is no oil pressure sensor on the s65.

So after reviewing logs of a DCT E9x, ArbID 181 doesn't exist. Let me research a bit more, my notes are from an E6x

Ok, Since I'm working on DCT related CAN stuff anyway, I took a while to look at this today. There is one ArbID I haven't figured out yet and that's ArbID 184. Most (if not all) temperatures transmitted across PT-CAN are a fully byte (8bits) of data with a formula as listed above.

The last byte of data from ArbID looks like it could be a temperature, but I can't correlate a trend to verify it.

It is entirely possible that the DSC electronics read temperature for their own use, but do not transmit it across PT-CAN as there is little need for it by other modules.

In short, it may not even be broadcast on PT-CAN. I'll freely admit though, it could be buried on the other 180ish ArbIDs and I just haven't run across it yet.

Was there ever an update on this. Looking for same info as trying to add Gearbox Temp to my digital gauge over CanBus and looking for DCT temp info.

It's Byte 0 in 0x37D. Byte value - 40 is the trans temp in C.

Edit: My notes say to subtract 48, but 40 sounds more correct... see what looks more realistic.
