On hot days, stock brake fluid boils, escapes through the relief valve, and splashes around the engine bay. Happened to me on two different days on a track that is hard on the brakes. Suggest getting fluid with higher boiling temp. I will have mine flushed this weekend. Also, don't track with stock tires if you can. The fronts get really beat up fast. Finally, I guess you've seen the track threads on MDM and EDC on this part of the forum.

Barcroft, sunny in and sunny out are all fast corners, so build you confidence and don't just go barreling in there. Don't do more than a handful of laps at a time, there is three braking points from decent speeds which will put real pressure on the brakes, let them cool.

Please comment on your day and how stock brakes performed on the day.

P.S.

Enjoy yourself.

Thanks, the straight between Chicane and Tower Bend is reasonably long, what kind of speed do people generally reach alonmg there? Well into three figures I guess?

Every car is different, it's all do to exit speed coming on to the straights as well as brute force. I couldn't say for the M3, a guess of 125mph is on the cards, even Clervaux you will be doing the best part of 100~105mph.

Take a camcorder to see how you get on.

P.S.

Good luck.
