Hey Guys,
I was playing around with pro tool today because I was getting a the passenger restraint malfunction. I accidentally disable the wrong modules so I decided to do a factory reset in pro tool After the factory reset my paddle shifters are not working, when I press downshift it activates the horn. It so weird How do I enable the paddle shifters back. I think maybe the factory reset disabled them and somehow coded the downshift to blow the horn? Any thoughts? Error Code 5A73 Im pretty sure the clock spring is good because I just replaced it because it broke when I reinstalled the steering rack when I did my RBs a few weeks ago. So clock spring is new and only a week old |

If the horn goes off, something is not grounded properly. Make sure the paddles and the ground in the steering wheel are connected properly and the paddle connections are seated correctly. The paddles tell the TCU to up or downshift according to voltage. It’s possible Pro Tool reset the TCU with incorrect parameters.
