Does the steering column have a center indicator?
Hey Guys,
Just finished my replacing my rod bearings. I am about to reinstall the subframe and steering rack. When I disassembled the steering, I forgot to straighten the steering wheel, I rotated to the right to gain access to the e10 bolt. How do I go about reinstalling it? do I just straighten the steering inside the car? Then straighten the steering rack? Is there a center indicator on the steering rack? and one on the steering shaft? |

assuming you didnt move the rack after the steering wheel was disconnected then the steering shaft will go back in right where it came out of. There is a tab on the rack where the shaft will go into, also this should slip in with not much force indicating that its in properly.
