Should i have resized my connecting rods?
I just had my bearings replaced and the shop sent the invoice which states the bolts i brought them recommend resizing the connecting rods which they didnt do but never mentioned it before installing the bearings. Its a reputable shop with 5 star rating. Is this a must do or do people not normally do this? My car has stage 2 apline tune and exhaust but thats it for power adders. Do i need them to tear this back aprat and resize or am i ok? Its just a garage queen 5 days a week and spirited driving otherwise.

that's a standard arp disclaimer.
BE has tested and measured and shown that resizing isn't required assuming the rods remained in good shape. more of a CYA thing. |
