VTT S65 Billet Spark Plug Tubes

Hello Everyone,

It is getting the time to change the valve cover gaskets; I've decided to replace the valve covers instead. It is also time to replace the spark plug tubes.
The original rubber ones should be fine, but I wonder if you guys have any experience with the VTT S65 Billet Spark Plug Tubes.

I have no experience with the spark plug tubes but I have some VTT experience. In the N54 world, they are hit and miss. Some people have had good experience with them, and some not good experience. Alot of people say that they buy Chinese products and stamp their name on it. I bought their turbos and they did whine from day one but they performed fine.

Second that comment if your replacing the valve covers get the NRW ones and the NRW billet tubes. I have both and they are very good quality.

I am replacing the covers with genuine BMW and thought about getting the billet tubes. They seem to be a straightforward solution but wanted to hear from you guys. I might just get the genuine tubes as they are still OK after 12+ years.

There's really nothing wrong with the stock tubes except they may leak from the o-ring. I had one brand new plug tube weep oil immediately after install. Just matter of luck.

I understand. But I am big on preventative maintenance and the job in question [replacing the cylinder covers] is something that I'll probably do again in another 12 years, so I better off just replace the tubes as well.
