Eventuri matte carbon plenum for e90, e92, e93 M3. There is a 1" hairline fracture (see photo) toward the back. This unit was test fitted, but never installed and will arrive in original shipping box. Located in Northern Michigan.

Is the crack cosmetic, or does it go through the entire carbon layer? IE, can you stick your finger through it? Does light shine through it?

/\ wondering the same thing, did you talk to Eventuri about it? Is it structurally sound or will pressure from running cause the crack to spread, let air escape?

No, light doesn’t shine through it. It’s not even visible unless pointed out and looking closely. Could easily be sealed with a resin, but I don’t even think that’s necessary
