Corsa exhaust and eventuri plenum?

Those that have a decently loud exhaust, can you still hear the plenum and is it still worth it?
I currently have a valved exhaust with the plenum so I can enjoy both but have an opportunity to pick up a corsa exhaust.
Would the corsa exhaust+text pipes drown out the eventuri plenum?
Has anyone tried putting valves on the corsa exhaust? Any info would be appreciated.

Corsa is not very loud, even with test pipes. I've got it with a bimmerworld x-pipe w/ hf cats in secondary position and my plenum is very audible although I've got the plastic panel filter assemblies removed and cowls removed as well as the rubber hood seal. Also have Karbonius which is louder then the Eventuri.

Just purchased the corsa exhaust!
I’ll be running eventuri+test pipes+corsa so I’ll find out soon. Regardless I’m only hearing only good things from this exhaust so super excited.

I'm not surprised, those pipes are probably very loud and as I mentioned above, the Eventuri is not as loud as the Karbonous, I absolutley hear it when I give it the full beans, especially between 3.5-5k

Oh yeah, its a great sounding exhaust and with test pipes, its just about perfect but somewhat smelly. No drone and not loud unless you want it to be.

Not Eventuri, but I have a full Karbonius intake with Evolve x-pipe and Borla Atak rear section. There's an increase in intake sound when mashing the throttle, but nothing crazy. Being worth it is totally subjective.

Purchased the Corsa and installed so reporting back.
Current set up, eventuri plenum, turner intake, test pipes, Corsa exhaust:
Definitely more refined sound as everyone has described and amazingly tame/drivable in regular traffic (compared to a valved exhaust open valves).
2-5k: exhaust sounds very good and pleasant compared to previous setup. Chinese valves exhaust sounded a bit tinny.
5/6k to redline: plenum/intake take over especially if you are WOT. Being used to the basically straight pipe setup before, I do miss the exhaust being louder up top.
No drone but cold starts are loud (I like it but my wife does not)

Now to the cons: exhaust tips lol. Way too small in my opinion and doesn’t work if you have a diffuser.
Loudness: 6-7/10. (Comparison: dual resonated xpipe/open valves=9.5, test pipes/oem xpipe and open valves 8-8.5/10)

Now the question is: do I get a quad resonated x-pipe and pair with Corsa? Maybe a valvetronic quad resonated xpipe and get new tips..
I really want it a bit louder up top…
May even go back to the valved exhaust.. just the right amount of loudness and having the option of closing valves is a plus.

The issue with the E9x M3 is that the. CF airboxes are closed vs open 9n the E46 N3 CSL boxes. These newer boxes aren't as loud, so you'll have to really mute the exhaust side. Now on the E46 M3, it's easier bc the inline 6 doesn't sound that great to begin with... however the V8 sounds insane. So you'll be muting and insane sound fir intake sound.

The Corsa and Akra are they best sounding mild systems.

The Meistershaft and Eisenmann are the best sounding aggressive systems.

The best matching xpipe to go with the Corsa, is the ESS Tuning xpipe (which is EXTREMELY rare). A good 2nd place is the Gintani xpipe. The combination of these give you the best mild/mid sounding exhaust on this platform (higher pitched F1 sound (zero drone/rasp).

The Meistershaft and ESS Tuning xpipe also gives you that same F1 sound, but with some rasp. The Dinan xpipe goes really well with the Meistershaft, abd gives the best aggressive lower pitched system (no drone or rasp).

In either case, I'd just keep the oem plenum and sell the CF ones, as you'd rather hear the exhaust. That money you get from the plenum, should be used to hop on the mentioned xpipes.

I beleive both of these use a forward X - if so, Bimmerworld should also sound similar if you can find one. That is what I have with my Corsa/Karboneous setup and couldn't be more pleased with the sound/volume/tone, lack of rasp or droning although I have high-flow cats tht replaced the secondaries.

I'd try removing the panel filter assemblies/plastics first, tht really helped make my Karboneous plenum more audible...then get panel filters like the Berger Motorsports ones (which now have a new weather gaurd option - https://burgertuning.com/collections...s-cowl-filters

i disagree corsa is loud. with a corsa and a x pipe the plenum noise will not be there.

Did you have this setup before being supercharged?

I used to have an X-Pipe and also couldn't imagine how you'd hear any induction noise over the exhaust, and I had mine paired with just an MPE.

is this with the headers and X-pipe with no cats? Also is this supercharged?

Maybe the high flow cats dial it down but I can hear my Karboneous just fine over the exhaust. I'm about to put the hood seal back on, curious if that has any affect.
