E92 DCT Leaking water (Not coolant lol)?

This is an odd mystery to us because the DCT appears to be leaking clear liquid/water, and the car definitely has anti-freeze in it right now.

Any BMW Techs, owners have insight on this stumper?

Getting it on the lift and doing a visual then will update.

It smelled like leaking trans fluid on exhaust, so and saw a very large pool of fluid, maybe fluid/water mix?

No DCT codes, that we saw. Slipping in reverse, and 1st I think.

The AC drains on top of the transmission.

There is a coolant/DCT fluid heat exchanger on top of the DCT. Hopefully not this and as you say the pool is pure water.

Edit: Hopefully no fluid in the coolant?

the coolant to DCT fluid exchanger is on the other side and the AC drain is on the side pictured. I forget if it's a tube that can sometimes find itself in the wrong place.

Coolant feels much more slippery to the touch than water, which is why some drift or track events require pure water, so a cooling failure doesn't cause a crash. The oil slicks could be all that weeping DCT fluid being washed away.

if you're having trans issues I'd suggest replacing that pan at the least. The fill procedure isn't as difficult as suggested either.
