A few random updates:

Rear coilover, custom wheel well liners, and fuel cell venting.

Looking good to get the car on the dyno soon and to buttonwillow for initial testing in December.

They were custom cut and heat molded to maximize clearance by Bimmerspeed in San Diego.

lol - what does asking a very simple question to the OP matter if that information would be helpful to other members who have the same question?

It doesn’t matter - Y’all can do whatever you’d like of course.

But generally, asking a person who received a one off item if they could get it too (when they shared the source) doesn’t result in the most expedient outcome.

How many Motorsports products do you think started as a one off part for a customer and ended up having short production runs made?

The question was super simple and harmless - no idea why you feel the need to jump in - if the OP wants to say “no idea, give them all call” I’d be happy too.

Was just curious if he knew off hand and wasn’t sure how fast he’d respond.

We can stop clogging this feed up either way.

At this point I’ve provided more value than you. I gave a number for serious inquiries.

I suspect you would want to bring your car there to have them molded.

Surprised to see rear coilover setup with rebound knob at bottom; this is the preferred way…but thought the E9x chassis forces you to invert them to prevent the spring from hitting the sway; or maybe that is for E92 only. Any insight?

Note the spring cup is above the CV boot. Not sure if that’s the standard MCS or something unique?

I had to invert mine, otherwise you shred the CV boots.

I’m sorry for the pointless discourse earlier! Obviously unnecessary nonsense.

Curious if your inverted set had this style of cups or were they lower? From your GTS setup add it looks like those did and were running with the adjuster facing down.

No stress

I’ll look on my e90 this weekend and let you know. Been a minute since I’ve been under there.
