Throttle actuator rebuild

Has anyone used this service and had their actuators rebuilt? Customer care, quality, and workmanship experience?

Call me crazy, but I was thinking of buying new OEM actuators and send them in to them to rebuild them with the metal gears and send my old ones in for a core deposit if they will do that.

I’ve heard from reputable bmw performance shops that the Evolve rebuilt ones have had problems, but one can say just the same for the OEM ones too so taking that with a grain of salt.

Wasn't aware the Evolve rebuilt TAs. These guys do; https://www.rebuild.org.uk/, and they are solid.

That’s good they got that in the U.K. Just got an email back from the shop I posted about and said they are happy to rebuild new ones with the upgraded parts and will accept the cores. Might be a good option when the time comes.

Can second that comment. I got mine from Rebuild UK, quick delivery with not too expensive postage cost (to Australia) so would be similar postage to USA

Euro Power Motorsports is a US distributor for Rebuild UK, I got mine 2 years ago for $720 shipped.

My REBUILD UK TAs have been in my car for 7 yrs, 60k kms, zero issues.

Question now is do I go with this rebuild from the UK or the Evolve ones. I trust Evolve because they have dune great products out but worth looking into other options.

Just go with the UK Rebuild ones as I and others have stated
