spl front endlinks not clearing control arm

installed the new adjustable end links because i saw that my OE one was shot. adjusted them to length on a ramp, as instructed, but now when the car is in the air at full suspension extension, it's clearly making contact with the control arm. my front sway bar is some kind of aftermarket from the PO (looks like an HR blue one), and so it doesn't have a "preferred" position. I moved it around so it seems to clear everything but i'm still having this issue. planning on trying to take it to my shop tomorrow, but any advice in the meantime is appreciated.

Assuming your bar has bushings that allow free rotation, can you reposition the bar and just make the end links shorter? Or are they already at their shortest length?

Yeah that’s probably the safest bet. I was getting hung up on keeping the bar parallel/creating a 90 degree angle but not bumping into things is probably more important.

Just make sure the sway bar has enough rotation upward and downward relative to the new position. If you are just grazing the control arm then you won't need to move it much to clear.

Been thru this exercise many times lol.

yeah that did it, thanks! it's still a hair away from the control arm at full extension, but it's not touch so i'm good. took it for a spin over some bumps, no odd noises. i think i'm ok.

will still take it to a shop at some point to properly set it as i didn't weight the driver seat with my weight, but i should be ok for a bit.
