E90 M3 Intermittent transmission fault codes
Hello Everyone,
I’m a long time listener and this is my very first time needing to reach out to anybody for help. My car is experiencing a very intermittent issue that is causing my car to go into limp mode and throw fault codes. The codes are easily cleared and after a simply restart they disappear. The problem only occurs when I’m driving the car hard, either in drive mode or using the paddle shifters. I receive the basic 2796 and 2B57 limp mode codes with a bunch of ignition cylinder control elect codes 275A,2759,2758,2757,2756,2755,2754,2753. The other codes that appear to be more specific are E094 meaning EGS is missing: display indication gearbox data PT-CAN. Also code Cf27 displaying Message from SZL: Handling of gear selector switch. Very confused on where to start with this repair, I’m assuming I need to fix a wire or sensor but not sure where to start looking. I recently had to replace the oil pan gasket and put everything back together. Also Checked my throttle actuators and replaced the fuel breather valve and idle control valve. I really appreciate anyone’s time on this. Thank you in advance! |
