Got 10.9 (l/100km) on a trip up to Armidale on the weekend and usually get about 15 (l/100km) around town.

I am a handful of kms short of 6000km and averaging 14.6. I am yet to do a long cruise. I think 14.6 is the bset I will be able to get out of city running!

Yeah, I was quite pleased with that trip. There was a bit of freeway driving but most was on "B" roads with quite a lot of twisties. Not much traffic.
I think AussieM3 is right about the 14.6 around town. Occaisionally I duck below 15, but only with very sedate driving practices. |

about 14.7l/100km since km 0 - Brisbane stop start traffic gives me about 17L - i'd expect it all to loosen up eventually as I found the my previous 530i really improved after 5000 km

no drama. There's a 20% difference (US being smaller) but we talk L/100km on Oz as you can see.
Guys - I get 10.5 frpm my C200K Benz around town and 7-7.5 on a trip. Saw 4.9 once when on the Sunshine coast for a break. Gonna miss that! |

I used to average 12.5-13.5 in the E46 M3 around town so I am very happy with what I am getting from the V8 at the moment. It's a combination of spirited and sedate driving. But every km is just sheer driving pleasure!

Got 10.9 on a round trip to Newcastle today over 350kms, mostly freeway driving 110-150km/h.
This car is fantastic on the highway, happy to cruise at 110 and equally happy at higher speeds. |
