I’ll try and post a clip of two of my F1 Race with resonated(4x) down and xpipes…

A few notes….

To my ear it sounds refined, coherent, consistent…

Under 2000 RPM there is this really unique harmonic growl that sounds amazing… You can tell it has been tuned… one of the benefits when running a full exhaust system from a manufacturer…

I also really like the fact mid throttle inputs are quieter and refined…

Zero rasp. Period

Needless to say it howls more than screams if that measles any sense lol

Downside: catless, these cars stink and I’ve run numerous cars without but the s65 is rowdy…I could see throwing in some little gesi’s at some point…

I have the evolve xpipe + SS F1 race. It smells a bit during the dyno run and idling when cold but beyond that, it isn't too bad.

The Dinan is louder, but it sounds like and old muscle car, the supersprint is higher pitched and fits the european character of the car much better....IMO.

Hey powerbait, my "2 cents" feedback...

I'm not convinced Dinan is 'louder'. Matter of fact, I beg to differ.
Aside from a dB meter, it's likely more about listeners tonal perception.

Supersprint 'sound' is definitely different than most for e92 M3.
Also 'set-up dependent', yet far more exotic, unique sounding than many AM exhaust system products for e92 M3, which either tend to be 'bassier' or crazy, obnoxiously raspy.

IMO, SS F1s have the 'sause''; mitigating rasp & drone
[of course set-up dependent]

F1s do make a far more refined sound/tone than most all Ti and valved set-ups heard in person.
Personal comparison - Previously ran cat-less, quad resonated X-pipe:
  • 1st - RPI axle back [luv that too, bassier tones]
  • 2nd - SS F1s axle back
Completely different tone/feel. With config above, SS F1s 'eargasm' required ~5K RPM to WOT to truly appreciate unique sound.

SS F1s baffled design is the differentiator hand-down.

To-date, now running 100% SS sections from OE header back.
>> 'Full/pure beans' config - !00% Cat-less & non-resonated:
  • Down pipe
  • X-pipe
  • F1s
Sounds absolutely, unique, intoxicating, and amazing vs all AM configs I've heard...symphony begins whenever you wish ==> ~2.5K thru 8.5K RPM, your throttle inputs dictate aggressiveness & dBs [my config, betting WOT dBs >110 conservatively].
