One the weekend, I flew from Detroit to Raleigh, then made my way to Danville, VA, to spend Sunday with herrubermensch and Chrisyphus at Partee Racing HQ.
Meeting Peter was an absolute pleasure. Stepping into Partee Racing feels almost surreal; the cleanliness of the engine room is astonishing, so much so that one could eat off the floor. Peter's commitment to perfection and attention to detail in every aspect of his work never fails to impress me. I'm immensely grateful, as I believe our entire community should be, to have him on our team. It's refreshing to see someone so dedicated to their passion for the BMW ///M brand, rather than solely chasing financial gain. As he nears the end of his career as an attorney, he intends to dedicate more time to serving the S65 and S85 community, a much-needed initiative. Peter is the trusted expert whom 99% of S62 and S54 owners would entrust with their motors, and I've been encouraging him to extend his services to our community. Exciting times ahead! My visit included a glimpse into the progress of the Carbon Fiber Plenum manufacturing, and I was thoroughly impressed by what I saw. Two windowed plenums are set to be delivered to customers this week. Additionally, we explored potential collaboration opportunities, which have left me eagerly anticipating what's to come. Details of these ventures will be shared soon.herrubermensch |

Those who were waiting to see the solid top version. Here is a sneak peek of one fresh out of the mold in one piece. No post processing took place when this video was recorded.

Had an amazing time this past Monday during my unplanned, last-minute trip over to Partee Racing. Got an insider's look at the Carbon Fiber production process and had the chance to chat with Christopher D Knerr and Peter Stone Partee Sr about some FAQs regarding the manufacturing process and design. Thank you guys for giving me time even though my trip wasn't planned. Stay tuned for videos coming soon on YouTube!
With full-fledged production underway, don't miss out on the presale price for the plenums. The Solid Top plenums are a favorite at the moment, and I have a feeling Peter played a big role in that. Plus, they're hands down the best-looking plenums out there. While the Lexan Top version is stunning too, it's not everyone's cup of tea. I'm all in for the Lexan top and already have it installed in my car. Got some pictures of the Solid Top Plenum before it left the door. Two Lexan Top plenums were getting prepped to leave the door while I was there. Enjoy the pictures. https://www.instagram.com/stories/pa...10NWFpbjVnNXk4 https://www.instagram.com/stories/pa...NnMjJxdnBpczFr |

While we all are appreciating the process with the S65 Carbon Fiber Plenum, Partee Racing has been staying busy designing and manufacturing a Carbon Fiber Plenum for the e39 M5. It’s an absolute masterpiece!
Here is Peter talking about the E39 M5 plenum. |

I’ve got mine and fitted it and actually love it.
Mine I think was the first one sent out as it was the one labelled in the pics. Very impressed with the quality of the thing, it looks fantastic. The installers were very impressed with it close up, but I didn’t get my hands on it pre installation. All I know is that it sounds incredible. I was aiming for louder than my previous eventuri set up and it has achieved that though I don’t have empirical measurements to prove that. It has the similar high pitched scream to the karbonius but is prettier and certainly better made. Am a big fan of the one piece molding and can’t fit the life of me figure out how they did it - even after they explained it. Have no regrets! I also have an infinity design airbox, which I recently fitted, one of the close up pics below was for the purposes of comparing the weave. |

Sound on! The difference between the stock plenum and the EAE X PRC Carbon Fiber Plenum is sooo noticeable. The video doesn’t do it justice but it’s still so noticeable in the video. The sound is actually soooo much better than that in real life when one really gets on it. I mean, the difference is visceral.

By now, we know Chrisyphus is mad scientist. I was mesmerized watching him manufacture the Lexan glass and install it on the plenum. I shot a quick video while I was Partee Racing over a month ago. Thought I should share it here for you all to enjoy. The attention to detail is just mind boggling. I wish all manufacturers were like this.
