We're now going on a year since the damper teasers were shared. Is there any more testing going on, or is the delay on Bilstein? Curious if you guys have a firm'ish ETA on them, or if Bilstein is just AWOL and proving unreliable. Bilstein's inability to maintain supply on every EDC product for years does make me wonder about derivatives of them because replacements could be unavailable if one were ever needed. Curious if you guys have any more insight into what's going on with Bilstein these days. It was originally to focus on OEM product lines, then COVID, now who knows.

They are coming. As I think I have mentioned before we changed so much from Bilstein own B6 EDC product they had to go through testing and compliance again.
We have had zero issues getting our F8X M3 EDC dampers from them or our i3s passive dampers after the products had been finalised. Last edited by Imran@Evolve; 04-12-2023 at 07:09 AM.. |

Hi Imran.
Do you have any clarity on the issue of the availability of the evolve/bilstein B6 shocks for the MSS kit? Is the project still a go? Thanks. |

MSS HAS kit looks like a well designed kit that’s superior to the KW HAS design. Nice advantage with any HAS kit is the ability to corner balance the car compared to just lowering it with any brand of lowering springs.

Imran and team, in another thread, we see the kit for sale for the custom B6 dampers. Can you elaborate on it now and provide an update when we can see stock and if sales will be happening with the MSS kit as a preliminary group buy?

I bought the evolve B6 and the MSS kit as separate kits last week.

Yes both are now available. We did a soft launch via email and 9 sets of dampers have gone out already. If you email sales at evolveautomotive.com the team can work out a package deal for you. |

Not going to open them until I have new top hats. I am looking for all the parts I need for the rear end shock mount parts that I need to do a 1 for 1 swap. I’m replacing my whole subframe too. This will be a 2-3 month process before I am complete.

Do you want stock or aftermarket rear upper shock mounts? It’s basically a bushing, two large washers and a nut (which may/may not come with the new shocks). Parts 6 and 7. 5 can be used but 3 and 4 depends on the size of the B6.

I know I need 7, 5, and 6 in the list above... The bump stop goes away cause Evolve confirmed no more bump stop required. Do I still need 4?
I'm going to go with factory shock mounts as this is a street car. |
