Hall Sensors Replaced w/ Throttle Actuators?

I needed a new throttle actuator, so went ahead and replaced both. The mechanic also replaced the hall sensors. Is this something that is typically done at the same time?

the hall sensor as in the throttles position sensor? I wouldnt change that unless there is a code for it, they are easy to test also since they only put out a 0-5v signal. its easy to get to so I would not change that prematurely.
