yeah. i know it's a common troubleshooting technique, just was thinking that what that does to the crush washer on them (maybe crush washer is the wrong term as it's not a copper style one but still)

it is perfectly fine to remove and reinstall spark plugs with the same sealing washer. Most spark plugs dont even have the option to replace the sealing washer since it is trapped between the threads and hex portion.
If you are using a torque wrench (which you should be), always tighten to 23 N•m regardless of installing a new or used spark plug. If you don't own a torque wrench and are forced to use a degree procedure, then you might see something like. "For a new spark plug, tighten the spark plug hand tight, and then tighten an additional 1/4 turn. For a spark plug that is already used, tighten the spark plug hand tight plus an additional 1/8 turn."

They aren't a single one-time use, but it's a good idea to do the spark plugs on these cars every 15-20k miles to maintain a healthy running S65.

Oh yeah you'll be fine. Just a little heads-up, torquing old sparkplugs vs torquing down new ones have a different feeling. Just make sure the torque setting is correct on your wrench and you'll be fine. The resistance is slightly different once those rings have been crushed before.
