Help Diagnosing Idle Issue at Cold Start

Just acquired E90 M3 (2008) a few weeks ago and I am noticing this idle issue that has developed during cold start. The idle will hunt/fluctuate quite a bit until the engine gets up to operating temperatures.

I haven’t really observed the idle behavior once the vehicle is fully warmed up. Any assistance in diagnosing or providing some further insight is greatly appreciated!

I had a similar issue a while back. The car would be hunting for a idle rpm and would occasionally hit 0 and shut off at a red light. If I remember correctly, only had these issues in the morning, while engine was cold.

My issues turned out to be a bad alternator and a bad throttle actuator.
My mechanic ruled out the icv with their diagnostic tool. He was also able to test the throttle actuators and alternators as well and it was spot on diagnosis.
