Can a poll be added to this post. I have an iPhone 15 and charged the phone couple of times in my g20 2019. No issue so far. I’m reading here that people who got it all had an iPhone15 Pro Max …

My iPhone 14 Pro seems to bake less when I use a case that is truly Magsafe compatible. Have others found the same? How about without a case?
This might be a non-factor here, just curious... |

Can we just disable the wireless charging function in the car? Pulling a fuse or cable? I would like this very much and just use that spot to park my phone.
Used the wireless charging tray once but didnt kill my phone |

I doubt they’d be able to point fingers at BMW on this one. My car has had its wireless charger for 4 years and I’ve used it with my iPhone for that whole time. If my 15 Pro has an issue that my 4 previous iPhones didn’t. Then Apple needs to sort it out. I wonder if today’s overheating patch in iOS 17.0.3 for the iPhone 15 is that fix. Quote:

One suggestion: I noticed how hot my Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Fold got when charging in the M850i. I now keep the door open to vent heat. Its not perfect, but it seems much cooler. Loose the look of the Carbon fiber, but better than bricking the phone!

I am using a case but it’s a apple case with magsafe so shouldn’t be an issue. Had the same case for my 14 pro max
