BMW US Dealer Locations and Stats
Not sure if this has been posted previously, but here is some interesting data on BMW US dealers:
Currently there are 366 Dealers in 49 States and Territories, but heavily concentrated in coastal states.

That makes sense since I think 70% of the population is near coastal areas depending on how you measure. I think 50% is within 50 miles of the coast. Roughly 75% live east of the Mississippi River.

Interesting data, and not surprising.
Businesses locate where the money is. Money is where the consumers are. No one lives in the middle of the country (in relative terms) compared to the coasts. |
