I would check if anyone near you has INPA/ISTA and run the codes from there and see what pulls up. Google thinks that it has something to do with your ABS control unit. Let us know what it is once you figure it out. Good luck!

Check for codes but likely bad wheel speed sensors. The speed sensor data is tied to multiple systems in the car. ABS, Seat belts, Airbags, probably others.

Update - brake bleeding.. air in ABS sensor ?

@normad Dave @abdul

Update: mechanic thinks they need to bleed brakes to remove air from DSC unit…
Anyone go this route ? Estimate $500

Error code 5DD0 Hydraulic Unit Adjustment, DSC unit valves

Anyone, any leads on the issue ?

Independent mechanic thinks we need to replace DSC, any thoughts?

What ended up being your issue?

Sounds like DSC pump issue.

based on the scenario, im guessing this car never had a brake fluid change due to its low mileage. the dsc unit failed, likely from moisture inside of it.
