So is it 414 HP or 420 HP - the tech specs say 420 BHP ?
Greetings,
The second to last document, before the 2010 GTS - states the 2007 E92 coupe (and others) as 420 bhp - so what is it ? 420 or 414 ?? Cheers, Merlin

I'm trying to find if the e92 ever came with Carbon Ceramic brakes. I keep searching and all the turns up are the Brembo upgrades. I couldn't find it on this sheet. Does anyone know if they came from the factory in the US with them, and what year?

PS/Metric HP/DIN HP vs Imperial HP/Mechanical HP/SAE HP. Germany, Japan, Italy use the former. USA & UK use the latter. Hence 420 / 414. But the engines are rated for exactly the same output, 309 kilowatts (kW). In fact, if you do a cross conversion between the different units of measurements, they prove to be identical. No. M-cars didn't have a CCB option until the F-chassis.

Why is this a sticky?
With so much inaccurate information, I don't think we should be promoting this document. Just take a look at the 4 speed automatic on the e46 and e9x.

Yep. This thread should not be a sticky. It's full of crap and hasn't been corrected.

E92 m3 dct paddle shifter right +
Hi Guys , new to this forum hoping to get some info. Was trying some new shifters and did not like the look and when I replace the OEM shifters its not changing gears. I removed it a few times cleaned the like the gold connections put it back in and also put the ball bearing back in and I think the correct was as I can move the shifter ok. also the back plastic section that the shifter screws on has a spring that can come out.
Any ideas would be great before I have to buy another one. Thanks Chris. |
