Is that a set of coupe front fenders? Or a custom venting set up?

It is the stock fender with a custom exterior trim ring to double as a way to hold the flap in.

Amazing! Love that design, TiCon parts? How quiet are those mufflers? I was looking at those a while back.
Are you building a diffuser? Looks great.

I just started thinking about a diffuser but have no idea who could make one that wouldn’t cost a small fortune.

Ya I suppose that’s true, though I still have no idea who could make one.

if you're already working with Riley, have him get you in touch with Amir @ RSFuture for the rear diffuser.

He’s already talked to him. The conclusion was that without a fully flat bottom there is no (or very little) benefit to adding a diffuser.

Zebulon will make you one (a diffuser) with a flat bottom. All in is < 5k last I talked to them. All you need to do is provide them a scan of the bottom of your car. This is in fight for my car actually.

Thanks. Considering I spend a bit of time exploring the limits of adhesion (well, beyond really), I'm not so sure I'm even ready to go that route.

Couple of updates:
1. Now I have a place for my left foot 2. Powder coated the wing uprights (looks much better). 3. Got an updated weight reading. This is all in (including however much fuel is in the tank) minus the front bumper and splitter (so maybe add 20 lbs). 4. There is still weight to lose: Dogbone has been relentlessly pushing me to get a new AP kit to save 24 lbs in the rear; tons of wiring and modules still inside which EAS will remove. So, maybe it's still possible to get to 2,899.999 (open to suggestions other than drilling speed holes in stuff )? |

There should be more than 40lbs you can take out of the wire harness. My box of extra wire was almost that and I still have a radio and front speakers.

its probably on the list of things to do, but trim all the tabs of the crap that isn't there anymore. -get rid of the charcoal fuel vent filter. -trim the rear bumper mounting plastic, its good for almost a pound. -headlight blanks. -rear brakes -carbon driveshaft -suspension arms -carbon fuel tank service covers -carbon fuel door -pull all the random rubber plugs in the hood/body

Some good progress from StripclubDJ. Not going to repost the info and pics he posted in the chitchat thread, but here’s the status as of yesterday (including some more weight savings ).
