Well, I never thought I would spend a couple of hours l reading about wheel studs hehe. What a great thread. I have screw in Millway studs in but will likely change to 12mm press in hubs when doing bearings likely in a few months. I hope the nuts with the separate coat will be available by then.
As an aside (and not something I would ever do myself), but what's the deal with the guys who track on titanium studs? Are they safe? |

I would not use titanium for wheel hardware. It is way too brittle and stretches a lot. Read up on the material properties of titanium and you will see what I mean. In particular, look up the modulus of elasticity and yield strength. Here's a good summary: https://www.thomasnet.com/articles/m...ties-and-uses/

Yes, pushing for mid June! All manufacturing has been very delayed as of late. We're in the midst of a rather large supply issue across the board.
We've completed torque-tension testing with an OE level testing facility with excellent results in conjunction to a few test mules running them on endurance racing and sprint racing cars. I will be sending a technical email out to all our website members going over the test results and with an option to pre-order. That being said, are people a fan of "high visibility" gold of not?? ![]()

hahaI dig them, I might have to buy a set for a set of screw-in studs for now until it's time to replace my wheel bearings.
