I'm confused
I thought a self serve car wash had a pressurized water spout and that's it. No brush/brushes. How would that scratch your car? That's how I wash my cars... |

I only ever use a self service type wash with the hand nozzle, never use the foaming brush except on the tyres and in extreme circumstances say sparingly behind the lower rear sections behind the wheels which sometimes has some stubborn gunk.
Having said that, I get the hand nozzle and give the foaming brush a very thorough wash with hand nozzle on high pressure before it goes anywhere near the car. |
