Okay okay neighbors fine you win. Gonna have to let the Gintani race axle back go from the E92 M3 as the neighbors are talking and I honestly don’t blame them. Paired with the Gintani catless midpipe on my car it does shake the pictures on the wall while warming up in the morning. But it sounds soooo amazing!!! A little boomy below 2500rpm then smooths out to this exotic wail all the way to redline that makes my hair stand up. But yes…it’s loud.

It has the polished double wall tip option and has always been on a Georgia car so zero corrosion etc. Basically like new with under 10k miles on it. Again, axle back only I’m keeping the Gintani midpipe (unless someone really twists my arm). Figure $1,100 is more than fair considering new price is over $2K and 2 month wait.

Would rather localish pickup or meet in Atlanta area as shipping is a pain but I might be able to work shipping out at buyers expense if I had to. Surely someone wants this, it’s not for those wanting stealth but I’ve never heard another axle back like it especially on a catless car that is normally too raspy for me with any other axle back.

I had a gintani sport which was actually valved. always wondered how nice the race would be. These look in mint condition. glws

Honestly, considering it’s paired with a catless midpipe it’s not as obnoxiously loud as some I’ve heard. What really surprises me is the lack of rasp with no cats, almost every catless S65 I’ve heard has some rasp to it including the non modded OEM axle back. It really sounds like Gintani actually did some R&D to find a nicely “tuned” sound instead of throwing some bent pipe and a muffler together with a $2k+ price tag. I’ll miss it for sure when it’s gone, love the unique sound and compliments but the neighborhood is not as impressed.

As much as I hate to even say this…probably gonna go with a Megan axle back with the Gintani midpipe. The Megan seems to be one of the few “quiet” setups that sounds ok catless.
