Speeding ticket frenzy is some kind of fake thing that comes up every few years, it's never been true. Car theft, can't say it's a problem I've noticed. Maybe in Newark or Camden. Never met anyone that's had their car stolen in 20 years in NJ.

I think the tri-state area and North Jersey is one of the better places to speed because there's always enough volume that you get a heads up, and everyone is already going 85 anyway.

Go pro's never really pick up great audio. Because it does sound a bit different than the other few in cabin audio of the C8Z in previous short videos.

But don't forget this is the stock exhaust lol.

I'm already keeping my eye out on some companies ready to offer an exhaust for this car. Going to buy one as soon as they're available, even if i didn't receive the car yet.

Oh really? That's cool to know from an actual owner. I just got the (erroneous?) info from YT. Beautiful cars, they should've made a revised version instead of this C8 thing (not a knock against that cuz it's hard to compete w that and the previous gen). I have a feeling they're going kill it in a good way in the future revision.

it does sound good. similar to the 458, perhaps even a little better as it changes tone a bit near redline.

Wouldn't the Porsche GT have to be better when it's priced so much higher? Who would chose the Z06 if they were price and availability was the same as GT3? They're two different tiers. Is anyone really surprised a much higher priced Porsche GT car is more desirable than a Corvette?

So far everyone is calling it a supercar. So basically the numbers are against you and a few others here.

Still a supercar until we see more performance data. If it falls short then it's just a high performance sports car. From what we know so far, even with that video i posted, shows all kinds of supercar action.

Porsche has a thousand different models. Pick your poison on which one you want to compare to a corvette to help your argument.

GM has one sports car (now supercar), the corvette. That's it.

The C8Z is the second variant to come out in the C8 lineup and people want to throw shade at the car like there's no tomorrow lol.

That actually proves GM is doing this right. When people who are fans of other car makers feel threatened people want this z06 more than a GT3.

Because yes people want this car over a GT3. Where is the craze of all these dealer ADM's, all the hype, all the videos, all the social media mayhem about a GT3?

Please show me because i haven't seen shit on that car. In fact people would not even know they're still making a GT3 because no one talks about it.

I've always hated the 'supercar' moniker. Most of the time, it just means a good performer that comes w a super price. In the end, they're all sportscars and that's what I call ALL of them.

I for sure want a GT3 but not instead of and not before I have the C8Z. Because if I prioritized the GT3 over the Z06 I would already have a GT3, simple as that.

Part of that problem is that I want the newest version of whatever current car, I don't want a 991, I want a 992. As long as a 992 GT3 is 300k+ I can't get there and still keep the other cars I have that I want to keep.

The reality is, one day the M4CSL will turn into a GT3.
The Z06 will stay.
The R8 will stay.
Maybe one day I can add a V12 like an AV.
