I just got a tune and Alex has been good to deal with from my side. Install was simple.

How'd it go with the updated tune?

Question Alpine Stage 1 to Stage 2 with E85 tune?

Alex - Appreciate your feedback before submitting a new tune package request.

Gents
Anyone have experience going to Alpine Stage 2 with full cat-less X pipe, dual resonators, AM axle-back [RPI] and E85 tune?

Converting from Alpine Stage 1 w/OE cats, OE X pipe and AM axle-back muffler.

Thinkin' E85 will mitigate/avoid 91oct cabin odor/fumes while cat-less, a nice performance bump, and provide an alternative to elevated gas prices. That assumes, the Alpine E85 tune will not require extra 'hardware/installation'.

...comments?

question:
The tune requires connection to my computer to execute, so I'm wondering if there's support for the latest Macs? (I don't have any PCs at home)

I use Parallels to run the tune W10 on my MacBook Pro...works w/o issues

I've had my tune since 2018.
Are these still only uploaded via PC?
I don't own any PC's either and I wanted to ask Alex to send me a copy of my files again and see about ordering new cables.
I only use Mac's now.

How does everyone like the Servotronics tune? Too much or too little over stock?

I luv the Servotronics optional feel...IMO provides additional feel and stability particularly on road surfaces that aren't smooth.

if you track your car or frequent the canyons enough, the heavier steering doesn't help as you are already on probably a track set up that already increases steering feel especially if you're 275 up front. the extra weight doesn't bode well with the steering tune.

Does anyone know if the tune works for canceling out suspension error? Or I'll need a canceling kit for ohlins?

If you were to purchase a tune and you have Alex install it remotely he can edit out EDC errors. I had an issue once and Alex cleared it for me.

So I’ve been Running Alex’s stage 2 tune for around a year and it’s been Phenomenal. I had a rather janky Frankenstein cut up stock midpipe made by an exhaust shop, and have always not liked the sound. recently I made the upgrade to an actual Xpipe, and when it showed up. I recieved a midpipe with 200 cell cats. The eBay seller states they don’t accept returns. I’m hoping they’ll make the situation right, but if they don’t am I still able to run my stage 2 tune? If yes, Will there be a noticeable power decrease, and will I lose my flames? Any input Is appreciated thanks!

Has anyone here been running the 8600 RPM redline for a significant length of time? Its not recommended on the Alpine website and my car sees track duty so I am not certain if its worth the risk or additional wear.

Rod bearings are done. Let me know what you guys think.

Anyone ran both "regular" burble and "super" burble maps and experience a lot smoother drive with the super burble map?

Regular burble makes my car jerk whenever I let off gas and step on it again

Super burble doesn't do this and runs a lot smoother...

Regular burbles will not cause a jerk. Burble F however will cause a jerk if you do not run the proper requirements.

But my problem is that regular burble is causing the jerk while super burble does not...

I would check your file name. It is probably burble F and it is burbling on the bottom end causing jerking.

Burbles would never cause jerking.

Ran my E90 through the Nurburgring earlier this week. I didn't push it hard at all but a good tune and DCT tune made the ride fun.
Been riding this file since 2018.
