Just FYI the 4 aluminum spacers are for the fuel rails. I didn't see that in the install guide and I read it at least 20 times.

you are correct, these were designed so the new injectors are properly spaced and can be clipped in properly. will need to add this to directions.

On page 17 they have a picture of them installed lifting(holding the SC up) but you're correct, nothing around to specify when to install it hardware to use. IF this is what you're talking about. I'm also assuming the long bolts in the pack are for these four installs? |

Needless to say the shop who did my install ran into problems with some of the DME wiring and that shop is now no longer in business... Read the manual at least two or three times prior to attempting an install at home, and call Mike if needed since he is highly knowledgeable on the install details -> and all of the nuances that go with debugging any gremlins. In my case, my kit had a bad bypass valve actuator which Harrop expressed shipped to me from AU! DukeofAlexandria Good luck with your install. Can't wait to hear your review.

Yes, correct, the long aluminum flat template (not shown) was also included and I have all that, so this helps answer my question and I'm good to go. When nycplumber mentioned 'spacers', in my mind I thought more along the lines of large stainless/aluminum washer for some reason and went looking through the hardware kit and was a bit confused ha. After reading the online guide, it was on Page 9 and does seem to cover that area, so all good! I've gone through most of it and it seems relatively straight forward. I've built bare block engines, installed countless parts, and installed centrifugal S/C on other car's before, so I have a decent amount of knowledge above the average user. Even with advanced knowledge I'm no certified mechanic, but this doesn't seem TOO far out of scope for a person who doesn't know much and wants to tackle a project and has the time. I'm going to take extra time to get this buttoned up because I also have the do88 big pack kit I have to install. I ALSO might have went on a shopping spree at FCP last night and I MIGHT have ordered a bunch of sensors and replacement items to reduce any heartache; water pump, thermostat, alternator, valve cover gaskets... - this is exactly what I told you I feared, running down a rabit hole haha! Will send updates as they come, thanks! -Duke |

Are you SURE you had to use these? After some mock up last night, I believe the picture of the angle aluminum brackets I posted are what should be used? Let me know, thanks! -Duke |

I think this might be for some of the 'newer' kits within the last 3-6 months. Mine is coming up on a year so I think these don't apply to me. Let me know what you think, thanks! -Duke |

nycplumber Do you know what part number on your pick list these were and what was your build date for your kit? Mine was 06/2021, if I remember correctly you purchased a new kit within the last few months, right? -Duke |

I curious as to what others are seeing from IAT differences vs ambient temp?
As an example, when driving at ambient temps of 20C (68F), my IAT hits about 35C(95C). And it goes up from there if I drive harder. I'm always at least 15C (do not convert to F) above ambient, even on long highway cruises. Am I in the ball park of what others are seeing?

This makes sense because those injectors (if I remember from someone else talking about it) are SLIGHTLY taller, which would require this washer to raise the fuel rail slightly. I believe I'm fine and should be ok, thanks so much for posting that and unless someone tells me different or I find that installing the fuel rail back on is just absurd, I believe I'm good to go! Thanks again gents! -Duke |

Yes they are just spacers for the different injectors. I would post a pic unfortunately though it's really hard to get a good one. But it's hard to confuse where they go when you understand their purpose. So to clarify you put them directly onto the throttle body and the fuel rail mount sits on top of that. Then the supercharger bracket sits on top of the fuel rail. 4 fuel rail m6 bolts supplied by harrop match up with the 4 spacers and 4 fuel rail mounts. If you don't install this spacer on the new style injectors you will start to put load on the injectors and not just on the throttle bodies.

Still looking for my E90 to build but very impressed with this kit. By any chance is anyone selling 😅 As soon as I lock one down I’ll lock a preorder on a kit. Hoping to have this car ready by November for a half mile.
