Any problems with DCT clutch on a supercharged car?

Any problems with DCT clutch on a supercharged car? Can the stock DCT clutch handle an ESS G1 or 625 kit?

I already have the GTS DCT transmission tune on my car, which supposedly ups the clamping force of the clutches?

Alex at Alpine told me there is another version of the DCT tune that ups the clutch clamping force even more than the GTS tune, specifically made for supercharged cars...just wondering what this clutch is good for?

DCT clutchpacks are fine for VT2/G1 setups, unless you're drag racing on a constant basis.

Nothing wrong with stock DCT software. If you wanted to upgrade, I wouldn't even bother with GTS DCT flash, as we've had much better experience with the EU flash - especially on the 1/2 mi airstrip runs.

As long as you don't go over ~650, you'll be fine. Plenty of people running in the 600's without slippage, but it's usually all dependent on wear.

My DCT car has had a GP-Infinitas (formerly G-Power) SK2CS kit (+210hp advertised) for over 65,000 miles.
Also has had 305/30/19 rear tires for that mileage as well, so the clutch assembly has had to deal with the extra grip as well.

I don't know what they did to the transmission tune, but the transmission has been completely trouble free the entire time.

This car hasn't been babied, but it also hasn't been subjected to drag racing or doughnuts.

Why not on the GTS DCT tune ? What’s the difference on the EU tune ? I thought they were all the same.

There is four different factory tunes , US, EU, CRT , and GTS

Dct euro sw is different. Clutch line pressure is applied differently and it’s a lot smoother on the street than the gts tune.

Wow I had never heard of the EU DCT flash before? Or the CRT flash either....what are the differences?

It seems like the U.S. always gets the watered down version hardware/software when it comes to Euro or JDM cars...

Thanks for the reassurance, I don't plan on doing drag racing anyway. Just a few highway pulls here and there or the occasional backroad spirited driving.

Best would be completely opinionated, GTS has the fastest shifts meanwhile EURO has faster than US shifts but smoother than GTS shifts.

The shift sound is also a bit different between us, gts and eu. it would be better to try them all.
