Felt like switching it up a bit. Shout-out to Vito at ZWorks for building my headlights with the Bavgruppe components I sent his way.

Such a large difference in price. How can you be sure they are authentic?

Probably going to regret this but I brought it on a work trip to Portland. I don't buy cars to let them sit in my garage and the STI seats hurt my back. Finally got some good miles in on the PS4S I bought on Black Friday. Superb on streets and highways and nowhere near as loud as I expected.

do you think the Michelin PS4S tires are loud at all?

I have had them on 2 different cars and I think they are the perfect street+ tires
not loud at all

I expected the tread pattern to be pretty loud. I had just come off a 3 hour stint in a Subaru STI with Continental DWS 06 all seasons and the M3 is cathedral quiet compared to that combination. And my car is stupid loud with no cats and a slightly modified Eisenmann race exhaust.

How do you know these are genuine considering the cost is so low compared to other sellers? Usually that's a red flag.

So yesterday did my first oil change to the M3 myself. Filled with right amount of oil only to find the system told me it was too high (which it only said after I warmed up the engine for 15 mins).

Proceeded to raise the car again, remove the oil plug, have it fall into my oil bucket and burn my hand getting it out. Finally get the plug in and tightened and now I'm too low on oil. This not having a dipstick is a real pain!

I agree the Conti DWS all seasons get very loud the more they're worn. I currently have them on my Mazda 6; and am counting down the days/miles until their worn enough to replace.

Time to retire the STI of daily duties!

Can't really do that, the M would be my only other replacement and the STI gets better gas mileage. In over 165K all I've really done to the Subaru is regular maintenance. Highway miles are pretty easy on it and I left boost alone for the most part. I got the mod bug out of my system.

I've heard the 06plus is more quiet but have no proof.

My sets been shipped out. I'll report back on whether they're legit. Too good of a price to pass up. I've had the tab up and just refresh occasionally to see if they're back in stock.

i got a set from them the last time they were this price. came individually packaged, with intact seals with Bosch validity stickers (qr codes). seems legit.

I should have pulled the trigger but I'll wait.

Oil filter housing back on and torqued to spec, new power steering pulley on and water pump in. I keep forgetting to get some scotch brite pads to clean up the housing for the thermostat. Also have to throw the deflector pulley back in.

Then I can put the new belts on, all new coolant lines/hoses and drop in my new CSF radiator.

Just installed new OEM M3 floormats, to replace the more generic BMW mats.

I finally got my hands on a set through Bimmerworld; for retail value!! I've been looking on and off for months now.

I saw a set or two on Ebay; but they're marked up pretty good, and I didn't want to pay $200 for a set.

i can't stand noisy tires
i had the bridgestone RE71's for a couple of weeks on my old F30 because they came with the Apex wheels that i bought used
it was driving me nuts because they were so noisy
replaced with Michelin PS4S and they were great

got PS4S for my E90 M3 when I got new wheels
when I needed replacement, the size i needed were backordered so I got Conti ECS instead
so far so good

When it comes time to replace these, I may have a tough call if both the PS4S and ECS are available
ECS is a little cheaper

I've ran PS4S before on a different car and loved them.

Kind of want to try these out. Advan Apex Better pricing as well. About $75 a tire. Any experience?

ECS is on my radar too for cost reasons, rumor has it they're very close in performance and road manners. There should be a new version soon to drive prices down even further for each tire.
