It's happening 5th annual Tail of the Dragon.
Sponsors are signing on. Logo is being designed. Will post in Bimmerpost and FB.
Shooting for 11/26-11/27 or 12/2-12/3. Of course people would be arriving a day earlier on 11/25 or 12/1. Thanksgiving is the Thursday before the first week on 11/24.
Hopefully we can get a consensus.
I'm estimating 50 cars by the amount of people who have messaged me. When it's posted in FB I think It will blow up.

FYI I have been introduced to a family that has lost their father recently and I will update as to how the charity will be set up.

I have a transporter who will make time to transport cars to and from if you live far away.
I had mine hauled to Atlanta and then flew in. Hooked up with KevinGS and ppatel14 and others and drove to the tail. So anyone thinking they can't make it due to distance, I think we can coordinate it.

I will post the information for lodging at Tapoco etc…
Some cabins have three rooms so they are big enough to keep costs down to room with others. I shared with Surquhar and jws-928

I'm in. WooFlew has kept me cooped up for too long. Time to escape the monastery grounds. I've no idea where The Tail is located, but not withstanding invasions of Taiwan, I'll be there. The rain usually washes my car, so this would also be an excuse to clean it a bit

I’ve got to talk to the GF. Usually thanksgiving is with my family, but if we’re with hers down in NC, there’s a chance I could come out for a day. Bout a 3.5 hour trip each way from her parents... though it would mean driving the zhp all the way down. Not sure.

Thanks for keeping this M3 tradition alive. We are trying to put covid into the rearview mirrors. Late fall timing should be good for that and keeping with the traditional Thanksgiving timeframe. Looking forward to meeting up with my old M3 friends and meeting new ones.

Very Nice....I'm actually heading down there on the 27th of this month with my Brother to check it out ourselves....However, will definitely try to make it out to the 5th annual meet...need to check both dates with Wifey.....anyone here is welcome to meet up with me and my brother to hangout. He is taking his Evo...Im going down there to test out my gopro and maybe take some quick pictures for myself. The 5th annual Meet sounds like its going to be A BIG turn out.

Yes if you look at my post with members who are coming I am sorting them by area. Definitely want to be in a caravan coming into the Tail. Nothing better than that morning standing there and hearing 5 plus cars downshifting as they are coming in.
