oh my, must have been a world's difference. you do notice that the car performs better at low RPM/torque with the Akra right?
Because that was the first thing I noticed when I had the Akra installed. The smaller diameter piping from the Akra seemed to be better optimized for this engine.

oh yeah big time, it feels so much better now. i also installed the new stage 2 map from alpine at the same time which added to the low RPM torque as well, car feels incredible now

Yes, the adapters fit any OEM-style ball connection mufflers. I currently have my Evo X-Pipe connected to a Supersprint rear muffler.

I just removed mine, without any issues. The fitment is absolutely perfect and tight af, zero play, it’s quite amazing actually.Didn’t have them too long though.

No, this batch of adapters had fixed that issue. The original RKP adapters had aluminum donuts so they became fused overtime with heat to the Akra's Ti piping making them impossible to remove.

Out of curiosity, do you have any audio/video clips of this setup? I have an SS F1 Race exhaust, and thinking of finding an akra xpipe to pair it with.

unfortunately, I don't but I could record one in the summer when the car is back on the road. It's a bit quiet, 0 drone and interestingly enough it has a linear volume as you get on the gas. So at lower RPM's it is quite quiet.
one thing I did notice with the Supersprint exhaust is that the "restriction" is a bit more optimized for low-end torque and the car is a lot punchier at lower RPMs paired with the Akra Evo Xpipe. Which I do like as I drive the car a lot in the City.
