Raining all day in OHIO

Decided to try OPTIMUM No Rinse inside my garage….not bad since I have Ceramic coating for several years now. Would give it a 7 out of 10…in terms of easy to use and satisfactory results for cleaning…just have to use a lot of microfiber towels.

Took the day off and grabbed a buddy to do a 550 mile road rally from the Portland metro area, up to the Olympic Peninsula and then back down the Washington coast home. No stops but for gas and to hit the head. 5 of the hours were top down in cool fall air. The Harrop SC held its own with zero heat soak. IATs ran 25-35 degrees above ambient the whole way and 450 miles into the day I stopped to clock a 4.00 zero to 60 in the e93. Pretty much a perfect M3 day. The video clip is from a 10 mile section of road SR-112 between Port Angeles and Sekiu.

Vorsteiner GTS7 finally repaired and painted up! Bumper was super trashed and probably wasn't worth saving, but the end product was definitely worth it. Hopefully stays intact till I find another bumper.

Followed my pride and joy (and my fiancé ) in her daily while we ran some errands that required 2 cars. The only thing better than driving the M3 is listening to someone else drive it thinking "man that's a nice car"

Installed black grill & Autotecknic Carbon Splitters

Really changes the look and makes it a bit more aggressive. Happy with the results.

It really does! Looks good! I have been trying to decide if I want to do these, but can't seem to pull the trigger. My luck, about the time I want to go for it they will discontinue the damn things, lol!

Finally got my rod bearings done!

I went with MRF Engineering in SoCal… which was an 8hr drive way… definitely worth it. Malek is super knowledgeable, the entire experience was amazing.

I could not imagine taking my M to any other shop.

Guess who turned 60 this morning???

Having recently supercharged, I can attest that 60 is the new 16.

Thanks! I was going back and forth on splitters vs. full lip. I don't think you can go wrong with either but I plan on getting coilovers soon. I figured I would scrape on driveways way less with splitters. Plus these were on sale for $375 so that made the decision that much easier.

Installed a new driveshaft, guibo, and trans mounts last night. Had a helluva time removing the CV joint from the diff. Ended up using a hatchet in the crease, and the biggest hammer I had to break it loose. Along with some expletives. Guess that's par for the course for 145k miles. The CV joint was clearly the main culprit of my pinging/clunking. The CSB wasn't too bad.

The CV quite literally came apart while I was removing it. Took a greasy ball bearing from inside the CV joint to the head in the process. Fun times.

The old trans mounts were nearly identical to the brand new ones. There was hardly any noticeable wear. So much so, that I almost got one of them mixed up with the replacement while reinstalling.

Car feels great now and I shall no longer live with the embarrassment of the "clink"
