NICE...... About what I expected....but I did think the extra torque of the 335 would give it a small lead that the M3 would erase later on..... An off the line drag would be interesting too...but I would guess the 335 is harder to launch.....

I always think that its not fair to compare a moded and stock car, i mean 335 is a great car, but M3 its just....sick.

I would be interested to see the V3 tuned 335 against an M3. Either way, I am M3 all of the way.
Does anybody roughly know the tourque and WHP of the V1 335 in the video?

335 is a daily commuter. It's an amazingly inspiring, back crushing torquey commuter... The M3 is a true performance car - it captures the feeling of riding a mechanical bull, offering the experienced rider high adrenaline returns, and saving the face-first trip to the safety mat.

I have not made any dyno, but i guess app. 360-370 whp.
I have been racing with both the new M3 and tuned 335 cars, the biggest difference between a tuned 335 and the M3 is the torque. The 335 makes a big jump at low rpm, it looks like a false start but it is actually the difference in the powerband. The M3 is losing against a V3 in a straight line with app 3-5 cl mostly because of the lack of torque at low rpm, in high speed (above 200km/h) the m3 probably is faster.

I agree, but i belive the future of the M cars is turbo, less fuel consumption and more torque.
