No...It was a key. I went out and tried to use a cutting wax on it and it doesn't look as bad now but I need to make the car perfect again.

Jeez that was not very nice, and I assume your former lady is aware of your care for the car. You seem calm about it thought, kudos.

What a killer combo.....!! Would have thought that would give even more power, but certainly seems enought. Maybe you have posted a little something about the result, driveability etc which I missed, if not it would be interesting to read.

Had the tint removed on the hottest week of the year. Real smart... but wanted to see if I liked the look better than the dark tint.

Also was playing around with the idea of a gloss white wrap. But the Space Grey just looks so good with the different shades it throws in the sun.

Looks great without tint. I usually always prefer to tint every car I own, because I feel it makes the car look better. Though I think an e92 is one that looks just as good not tinted.

If I would tint the e92, I'd probably keep the tint no darker than 20.

Finally got around to installing my BMW performance pedals. Difficulty scale 1/5, pain in the ass scale 5/5. I'm a medium sized guy and there is no good way to do this! Heel/toe is great now, I cut a second off my lap time to Costco

You could do a ceramic tint to keep the heat reduction properties without going super dark.

Yea. I think I'm gonna go 80% ceramic on it. Keep the inside cool.

E92 looks better with no tint. It shows off the lines of the windows better.

Finally got around to doing the F10 knob and boot, with my own little twist. Will make a separate post in the cosmetic mods area. Car previously had the weighted knob with OEM boot.

Nothing too major. I modified the bottom curve of the frame to eliminate the odd lumps that I see in pretty much every other F10 to E9x boot DIY. Also filed the donor frame a bit to get it to lock in properly despite the thicker leather.

My goal was to get as close as possible to a retrofit that looked like it came with the car. It needs maybe a tiny bit more massaging, but I think I pretty much hit the mark. I love it.

Nicely done!

Frame on mine across the top is popped out sightly -- Need to stop procrastinating and do some refitting to get that tight fitment like yours
