First track day with the M3, need some help

I run Project Mu HC-CS on my M3 with stock calipers. It can handle serious heat (over 800c) on track but is dead silent on the street. No other pad gets close that is silent on a stock sliding caliper. The only problem is, it is special order from Japan and will take many months to get it. Endless MX72 PLUS is also something to consider. I order directly from the Japanese dealer to bypass the US middlemen.

DS2500 are good street pads but will fry on track and leave deposits all over your rotors if you are braking hard. They max out around 400-500c. A similar pad to the DS2500 is the Stoptech Sport (not Street) pads. HP plus will handle heat better but they make noise as you said.

I run Pagid RSL29 on OEM rotor and did not notice any noise. They squeal on very light braking, but I don't mind.

Is the Hawk HP a track pads? If so I'll take them.

I ran DTC60 this past weekend on the track. I did get a bit of squealing _but_ I didn't use any brake grease/anti-squeal on the backing plates (whoops). I rode with an instructor with PFC08's and I don't remember them squealing at all - although he was braking VERY hard. I'd think DTC60 or PFC08 would be a good option.

Also, the DTC60's performed REALLY good! I didn't feel any brake fade on a track that was heavy on the brakes. My first track weekend I had stock pads and they would get squishy pretty quickly. You'll want track pads for the track. I had 100% confidence in the brakes not feeling like jelly.

I tried DTC-60s, and for me they worked very nicely on track with PS4s tires.
They would make occasional noise on track, but I only noticed the noise when replaying a lap on video.
They got me to the track and back home without too much drama.
But when in town and as the car is slowing (15mph-0mph) to a stop, EARMUFFS!
I literally pulled up to a stop light next to an actual garbage truck and the dude gave me a WTF? look.

Before making a pad recommendation, Dave Zeckhausen asked me a bunch of detailed questions about my experience level, tires, what car and what the biggest speed drops on track were.

My dtc 70's make hardly a squeak every couple of stops. They're pretty incredible, and the price is nice too. That NASA tt let you win hawk bucks is icing on the cake. I'll be on 295 RR's and DTC 70 until there's a really strong argument to change.

Just a quick update; I ran the Ferodo's I bought from leftfootbr8king on my last track day, and the car was just gorgeous!
Superb braking, no fade what so ever, no overheating... I felt a bit like I was back in my Shelby... (well, just feeling a bit slower, obviously

)

I managed a sub 2min lap time on Palmer, which is good for all seasons tires, and not really pushing 100%...

I bet you I can squeeze at least 2 seconds with proper tires...

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I did recondition the right front brake caliper, the outside seal was torn and there was a lot of dirt on the piston. New seals, cleaned piston to perfection, re-assembled and all perfect ! What pointed me to it was some vibration on right front wheel when braking really heavy the track day before this.
