110,000 mile rod bearings

I posted a while ago that I was replacing my rod bearings replaced. Autocoture in New Jersey did a phenomenal job with great communication and a very fast turnaround time. From my post I was asked to share a photo of the rod bearings and here they are! Not too bad for 110k miles.

The other halves would be helpful too if you can.

Those look like the newer bearings, also look very similar to the bearings out of my 13 with 45k miles on it.

I wonder how much mileage correlates to the problem vs age? I read somewhere that using BMW's previously recommended oil was also a problem, due to its viscosity and that the newer oils are better.

These look good. Did you own the car since new? What is your normal startup routine (if any)?

JesseBartko — we could benefit from knowing the details of your maintenance regimen... OCIs, oil used, car history, etc. etc.
(thanks)

Service history was done to a T! Sold originally from the dealer I work for. Then sold as a CPO from my dealership. Never missed an oil service and no maintenance ever missed. Will post other halves soon!

When you say never missed a dealer service are we talking about 15 K oil changes?
