Brembo 380mm bbk install
Hey guys. Due to the winter storm in the south i was able to find some time to begin my bbk installation. I only did the fronts today but everything went smooth as expected with no issues.
One question i did have is that it was my understanding the bbk kits did not have provision for the brake wear sensor in the pads but the brembo pads that came with my new kit seemed to so i just plugged it back into the notch in the brakepad. So i would like a confirmation that the 380mm bbk kit do in fact have the notch for the brake wear indicator and there is no need to relocate the sensor. |

Thank you for the prompt replies.
I ended up trimming the splash shields for the front. I do not see any reason to remove them... the trimming takes just a few minutes. |

You can hook up the sensors? Mine are all tied up.
My front heat shields were also removed.

I trimmed my front dust shields. I figured with rubber still present in my front suspension that excessive heat might not be good. On the rears you have to basically trim the shields completely off.
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=830853 I removed my sensors and wired the loop closed. They look great! Jason

Do you trim the shields to clear just the calipers or rotors as well?
