changed the oil. again.
and threw on stock wheels until I can replace my rear tires

dropped the bolt into the catch pan full of oil when i was trying to bolt it back in
that was fun fishing it out

Oil and filter change, 1200 miles post rod bearings. BMW Twin Turbo 10w60. Also re-routed a fresh AUX cable from the glovebox to the console for the Apply Carplay system.

Installed a Pitaka wireless charging magnetic mount(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I ran a flat USB-C cable(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1) under the center console to a QC charger in the armrest. Better than the Induktiv solution IMO, which I had in my 335, because the mount holds the phone in place and can charge or not based on the plug being in or out.

Sorry in advance, forgot to take before pictures for comparison, but my driver seat Shoulder and side Boltster had a lot of wear on it....going to be gone on family trip for the weekend...so decided apply and let it sit for several days.

ordered Continental ECS tires from tirerack today
275/35/18 x2
to replace MPS4S tires
(caught 2 nails in 1 tire, patched it and drove on it for about 6 weeks and then started losing air again so they're off the car now)

delivery date - June 16th

If you put in 8.8L the other day you should be fine, I find the meeting being extra tricky shortly after a oil change. Asking for another liter is wrong anyhow...

i wasn't trying to go meet someone in the middle of the night to get a quart of oil

i got 10w-40 castrol edge from pep boys in the morning and filled up

Fucking thing sucks. I was down 3/4 a liter according to the reading so I kept adding a little bit over the course of a week or so and the reading didn't budge and so I gave up after I had added close to a full liter. Then a week later suddenly it started to read full.

At least I know enough to stop adding before I overfill.

If I had seen this earlier I have a case in the trunk and live on Sawtelle and Santa Monica.

I've overfilled after an oil change because of the stupid e-dipstick reading
took forever to suck out oil from the filter housing and recheck multiple times
now i only add 1/4 to 1/3 quart at a time and drive around until i get an accurate reading
